To say that my weekend in New York was much needed is an understatement. My next couple of posts are going to take you through the highlights of my trip in the Big Apple. Day one consisted of exploring the city, sight seeing, and of course eating. I decided to pack a wardrobe of mostly blacks and whites to create a more classic attire that can go from day to night. I ended the night by running into Mondo Guerra (from season eight of Project Runway) in the elevator of my hotel. Being one of my favorite/inspirational designers to compete on Project Runway, I was in shock. After taking many pictures and chatting, he couldn't have been more genuine and candid. He provided me with priceless advise and inspirational words that I will take with me forever. Mondo was also sporting his extraordinary new eyewear collection which I will be trying to get my hands on one (or maybe a few) of his innovative frames to add to my glasses colection.
