This weekend I took a little break from the Arizona heat and went to Washington DC for a couple of days with my mom and brother to visit my cousin. My plan was to post the pictures day by day, but of course I forgot my adapter for my camera! As a result my next few posts will be outfits that I wore during the trip. I have been to DC quite a few times now and have done sightseeing almost every time I come. As a result I didn't get any pictures of them this time because it was such a short trip. My main goal was to relax before my finals that are this week and to enjoy the weather. If you were to ever visit DC my top suggestion for a place to go would be to visit Georgetown. Georgetown remains to be one of my favorite neighborhoods in DC for its historic atmosphere, liveliness, and of course the shopping. Every time I stroll through the busy streets of Georgetown I discover new places that I didn't notice before, as if it is constantly changing. Since the weather in AZ hasn't gotten cold enough I really wanted to get use out of my blazer. I wanted to wear something that was dressy yet casual.
PS By layering your tank tops with a button down shirt or a blazer it will create a more sophisticated look to your typical tank top.
